Lead Generator Usage Agreement

CAROL E. SLATER/PETWRITES.COM USAGE AGREEMENT FOR EBOOK HOW PEPPER AND PRECIOUS SAVED CHRISTMAS DAY

The following is a legal agreement (the “Agreement”) between you and CAROL SLATER [a.k.a. CHIWAH SLATER, CHIWAH CAROL SLATER, PETWRITES.COM], author of the eBook, How Pepper and Precious Saved Christmas Day (henceforth, “The eBook”.)

Please read and agree to this Agreement carefully before using “The eBook” in any way. By using “The eBook”, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. Your failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement could result in the immediate termination of your right to use “The eBook” in any way.

CAROL SLATER [a.k.a. CHIWAH SLATER, CHIWAH CAROL SLATER, PETWRITES.COM] reserves the right to change this Agreement at any time, and you agree to be bound by such changes. If and when changes are made, notification will be provided to you. Please make sure that you read and understand all changes. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement and to abide by any amendments that may occur, do not click the “I AGREE” button or download or use “The eBook”.

AGREEMENT OVERVIEW

The right to use “The eBook” from CAROL SLATER [a.k.a. CHIWAH SLATER, CHIWAH CAROL SLATER, PETWRITES.COM] is subject to the following limitations:

[YES] Can use “The eBook” solely as a giveaway on your web site(s).

[YES] Can use “The eBook” as a holiday lead generator/list builder solely as a giveaway on your web site(s) year after year.

[NO] Can package “The eBook”, or any image or text therein, with other products to sell or give away as a bundle.

[NO] Can resell “The eBook”

[NO] Can alter the cover or contents of “The eBook” in any way whatsoever, including: may not alter title, images, text, links, or any other contents of “The eBook”.

[NO] Can break “The eBook” up into parts to be used in any way, for any purpose.

[NO] Can give or resell “The eBook”, or any image or text therein, to any other person or entity, whether for use as a lead generator/list builder or in any other capacity.

[NO] Can use “The eBook” or any image or text therein in any other way than as a lead generator on your web site.

[NO] Can offer “The eBook” or any image or text therein through auction sites.

[NO] Can include “The eBook” or any image or text therein as a part of any other product.

[NO] Can sell Resell Rights.

[NO] Can sell Master Resale Rights.

[NO] Can sell Private Label Rights.

[NO] Can Claim Original Copyright to “The eBook” or any image or text therein.

PART I GENERAL TERMS

1.This Agreement grants you a single-user license. If your corporate or business entity has multiple website or publishing properties, you may use “The eBook” as a lead generator/list builder on any and all of those properties.

2.You may not sell, loan or give “The eBook” or any image or text therein to any user or entity outside of your organization or the properties owned by the purchaser of this license.

PART II USAGE RIGHTS

3. By this Agreement, CAROL SLATER [a.k.a. CHIWAH SLATER, CHIWAH CAROL SLATER, PETWRITES.COM] grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right, in perpetuity, to use “The eBook”, subject to the limitations set forth herein and in Part III of this usage Agreement.

PERMITTED USES

4.All other rights to use of “The eBook” are expressly reserved by CAROL SLATER [a.k.a. CHIWAH SLATER, CHIWAH CAROL SLATER, PETWRITES.COM] and are not granted to you as part of this Agreement.

PART III LIMITATIONS ON USAGE

YOU MAY NOT:

5. Use “The eBook”, or any part thereof, other than as specified in PART I.

6. Use “The eBook”, in whole or in part, in such a manner that it infringes upon any third party’s trademark or other intellectual property.

7. Use “The eBook”, in whole or in part, on any web site that promotes any product, life style, or ideas that would not generally be considered to be in good taste – this includes, but is not limited to the use of “The eBook”: a) in any connection with pornography, “adult videos” or such like; b) to generate leads for any web site that recommends or sells tobacco or liquor products or other addictive substances; c) in connection with any ads or promotional materials for adult entertainment clubs or similar venues, or for escort, dating or similar services; d) in connection with political endorsements; e) in any manner that is defamatory, or in connection with anything that contains unlawful or offensive content.

8. Share “The eBook”, or any image or text therein, by providing access to it on shared disk drives, computer networks, servers, cloud network or other intranets whatsoever.

9. Use “The eBook” in a manner that competes with CAROL E. SLATER [a.k.a. CAROL SLATER, CHIWAH SLATER, CHIWAH CAROL SLATER]’s businesses or web sites: PETWRITES.COM, AWRITETOKNOW.COM, WORDWEAVER4U.COM, SLATER AUTHOR & BUSINESS ALTERNATIVES, or others. This includes, but is not limited to, displaying “The eBook”, in whole or in part, in any way other than as provided by CAROL SLATER [a.k.a. CHIWAH SLATER, CHIWAH CAROL SLATER, PETWRITES.COM] in the Banner Ads and Image Ads in any format (including thumbnails) for download on a website

10. Use any image from “The eBook” as a trademark, service mark, logo, or other indication of origin, or as part thereof, or to otherwise directly endorse or imply the endorsement of any goods and/or services, except inasmuch as your use of it as a lead generator/list builder as specified above.

11. Use or display “The eBook” or any image or text from “The eBook” in any manner that gives the impression that the image or text was created by you or any person other than CAROL SLATER [a.k.a. CHIWAH SLATER, CHIWAH CAROL SLATER, PETWRITES.COM], the copyright holder of that Image.

EXEMPTION FROM LIABILITY

12. Neither CAROL E. SLATER [a.k.a. CAROL SLATER, CHIWAH SLATER, CHIWAH CAROL SLATER, PETWRITES.COM], nor any person related to same, nor other properties owned in whole or in part by same, assume any responsibility whatsoever for results or imposition or damages of any kind, including but not limited to  physical, mental, or emotional imposition or damages, deemed to have been caused by or  from usage of “The eBook” as a lead generator or list builder or from any other kind of usage whatsoever of “The eBook”, whether authorized by CAROL SLATER [a.k.a. CHIWAH SLATER, CHIWAH CAROL SLATER, PETWRITES.COM] or not.
